Gnawing at Wool

Life circumstances have pushed back the post for The House of Usher (1960) and any Valentine’s Day post I came up with. To finally get things going for 2024, I wanted to post something new. Before my birthday in November, I self-published my first short story on Kindle. I realized I never shared anything about it beyond By Night’s social media pages, so here we are. This is a revamped version of a story I wrote in college. “Gnawing at Wool” is about life pulling the rug out from under us and how that can awaken our inner monster.

If you want to keep sharing the positive Valentine’s Day vibes, it would mean a lot if you check out “Gnawing at Wool” on Kindle Unlimited or buy the eBook through Amazon. I am also trying to get more reviews online for visibility purposes if you are feeling extra generous. Even adding it to your Goodreads list or sharing it on social media would be super cool.

As always, I want to extend a big thank-you to everyone who takes the time to engage with the oddities I put in writing.
