My fellow midwesterners may agree…we are in the midst of a brutal winter. I love a night in with a horror movie, hot cider, and a gentle snowfall, but those cozy conditions do not tend to last long. While you watch the snow fall through your window and pray the power stays on, why not indulge in a wintry horror movie? The atmosphere and subconscious dread you are already experiencing takes the experience to another level. I have listed what comes to just a handful of many, many great horror films set in winter (or wintry conditions, at least).
