Good Night, 2021

With 2021 being this blog’s first full year of being active, I wanted to wrap up the year with a reflective post. I am proud of the blog content and posts that I published this year, and I appreciate everyone who engaged with it throughout the year. I learned a lot about what subjects appeal the most to readers (as well as those that did the opposite). I tried some new approaches to blogging that went pretty well, and there are still more I plan to try. I encountered a lot of new horror this year that has entertained me, disturbed me, made me nauseous at times, and inspired me. One of the most exciting aspects of horror is that it is always changing and pushing new boundaries. I cannot wait to see the new stories 2022 brings.

Next year, I plan to extend my love of horror stories into new media. I have set up accounts for TikTok and YouTube, both of which are very new territory for me. Now that I have a job that allows me to work regular hours, scheduling time to create content should be a little easier. I have a lot to figure out on my own, but I am excited to learn new skills and evolve this blog!

Also, if anyone reading is a horror podcaster or is looking for someone to write guest posts for their website, I would love to contribute. My contact info is in the “Social” tab.

I want to thank everyone who checked out the posts, visited the website, and joined me on social media this year. Some new and exciting things are in the works for 2022. Meanwhile, I am going to continue indulging in my favorite spooky things while warming up for the first post of 2022 (hint: it is a film post on one of my favorite psychological thrillers). Stay tuned!

Until next time,

Jordan
