Favorite Halloween Cartoons

As I have shared many times at this point, I curate several entertainment lists for every Halloween season. One list I always include is my favorite Halloween or Halloween-ish cartoons. No matter how far away from my actual childhood I get, spending a night in with my favorite candy and a classic Halloween animated special or movie never gets old. I watch animated shorts and movies every day, and nothing beats a spooky, nostalgic, colorful adventure:

“Silly Symphonies: The Skeleton Dance” (1929)

“Lonesome Ghosts” (1937)

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949)

“Trick or Treat” (1952)

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

Winnie the Pooh: Boo to You, Too! (1996)

Warner Bros.

Looney Tunes:

“Hair-Raising Hare” (S11, E7)

“Scaredy Cat” (S13, E20)

“Bewitched Bunny” (S19, E20)

“Broom-stick Bunny” (S21, E1)

“Hyde and Go Tweet” (S25, E14)

“Transylvania 6-5000” (S28, E7)

Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School (1988)

Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf (1988)

Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost (1999)

Corpse Bride (2005)

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)

Halloween is Grinch Night (1977)

Garfield’s Halloween Adventure (1985)

Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman (2000)

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)

Until next time,
