Hello everyone,
It’s October 1st, and By Night has officially been active for an entire year! In addition to sharing some stats and my goals for the next year, I just want to thank everyone who has supported this blog in any way. I had no idea what to expect when I launched this site a year ago. I wanted a platform where I could openly write about the things I love while also honing my discipline for my writing and content creation. I have learned more than I ever thought I would and connected with many fellow bloggers along the way. Thank you for joining me in this experience. The plan for the next year: I have already set up a TikTok account, I just need to figure out how to use it! I am thinking of a BookTok-type setup with a dark aesthetics focus. Also…I have batted this idea around for a while, but I am planning on starting the By Night YouTube channel! With this channel, I want to review horror films, talk about my favorite horror stories and trivia, and share the many small businesses who create and sell spooky stuff. I have a lot more to think about and work to do, but it may just come to life!
Again, thank you all for your support and making this an even bigger excursion than I thought it would be. I look forward to updating By Night every week, and I cannot wait to see what it becomes next.
